PAGE 10 - THINGS THAT WE HATE .....Hate nothing. Hate and resentment erodes our very souls. The best way to get rid of something you do not like is to bless it with love, and give thanks for what it has brought to teach you, and let it go. Make a list of the things you hate, and change each thing to a positive statement. Example: I hate smokers. We can change that to: I really like people who don't smoke. Another example: I personally hate people that ask me to make lists. I can change that to: I truly appreciate people who do not ask me to make lists. Seeing as our thoughts shape our future we want our thoughts to be positive, loving, and healing thoughts. .....The opposite of love is fear, and fear is the father of hate. Hate in all its varying degrees is the soil from which all evil grows. It is hate that souers our stomach and dulls our senses and darkens our day. .....It is impossible to have a loving and a hateful thought at the same time. So, one of the best ways to crowd hate out of our mind is to fill our minds with loving thoughts. Affirmation: 1. I am willing to free myself of all anger and hate from the past. And so it is. 2. I forgive all those who may have harmed me and I forgive myself for having harmed others. |
