PAGE 22 - WE ARE IN THIS TOGETHER
.....We can be of no help to each other unless we see that we are in this together, that all of our differences are superficial and meaningless, and that only the countless ways that we are alike has any importance at all.
.....Although we want to experience peace, most of us are still seeking something else that we will never find. We are still trying to control and predict and, therefore, we feel isolated, disconnected, separate, alone, fragmented, unloved and unlovable. Mother Teresa called this phenome- non, "spiritual deprivation."
.....With what we know, understand and have experienced up to this moment, we are all doing the very best that we can. Seeing others as doing the best that they can makes it easier to be forgiving.
